Which colour and quantity do I need?

Quantity: as a rule of thumb, 200 grams of flock fibres covers about 2 m². That's usually enough for a dashboard; for a larger surface or several projects, choose a bigger size.

About the Foam roller 5 cm with handle

A clean flocking result starts with an even layer of adhesive. Where the adhesive is too thick, you get blotches and messy edges. Where it is too thin, the fibres don't bond properly. With this 5 cm wide foam roller you spread the flock adhesive evenly over the surface in one stroke, without brush marks or build-up.

The smooth, fine-pored foam (Ø 35 mm) takes up the adhesive well and releases it evenly. That keeps the layer thickness constant, even on larger surfaces. Thanks to its narrow width, you can also work precisely on small parts, in rebates and along edges: dashboard parts, jewellery boxes, drawers, displays and scale models. The roller comes with a handle and is ready to use straight away.

Tips for the best result

  • Roll the adhesive on crosswise (first lengthwise, then across) for a closed, even layer.
  • Flock straight after applying, while the adhesive is still wet.
  • Use a new roller for every colour or job. Cured adhesive in the foam gives an uneven layer.
